MV-Welding Oy designs and manufactures Best Welder welding machines, which are tailored to each customer’s needs. MOS Engineering was involved in the product development of a new machine model. The design drawings came from MOS, and the details of the implementation were worked out together with the customer.
The Best Welder PipeMaster is an automated pipe welding system that can be adapted to the customer’s production. It combines a welding boom, a rotator, and the control of an EWM welding machine into a single, easy-to-use package.
Markus Vepsäläinen, CEO of MV-Welding Oy, says that the details of the product were designed in close cooperation with MOS. “I brought up ideas, and together we planned how to implement them. MOS provided the 3D design drawings and they also handled the requests for component quotes, because I didn’t have time for them myself,” Vepsäläinen says.
